 Léo Diniz is originally from Belo Horizonte, a dancer, teacher, and choreographer of ballroom/partner dances for nearly 20 years.

With extensive experience in the forró pé de serra scene, in recent years he has dedicated himself to Roots-style forró, teaching courses and workshops in various cities across Brazil and Europe, as well as regularly promoting courses, dance parties, and festivals in Belo Horizonte through the Baila Roots project, of which he is director.

Through research and studies in other dance forms and different bodily experiences, he broadened his understanding of movement and developed a teaching method focused on body structure as a facilitator for learning movements and connecting with others.

Among the many projects carried out in Brazil, he was a guest instructor at the Matrizes festival in Itaúnas in 2021, 2023, and 2026, and at Rootstock Brasil in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2022, 2024, 2025, and 2026.

With numerous international tours, he has also worked in Switzerland, England, France, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Portugal, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Greece, and Finland.

 Mardio Costa and Milena Morais are Brazilian forró artists and teachers based in Bahia, Brazil. Together, they lead Chineleiros, a forró school founded by Mardio in 2013, where they continue to develop their shared approach to dance, connection and Brazilian culture.

With years of experience teaching, performing and travelling internationally, they have brought their forró to festivals and dance communities across Brazil and around the world. Their partnership combines strong technique, musicality and a deep belief in forró as a way of connecting, expressing and celebrating culture.

In 2023, they became champions of the Professional category at the 3rd Forró Dance Tournament in Itaúnas, and in 2026 they were the first champions of the Master category at the J&J WFC in Geneva, Switzerland.

 Coisa de Zé is one of Brazil's most loved forró pé de serra bands, straight from São Paulo. For more than a decade, they have brought together the classic sound of the sanfona, zabumba and triangle with xote, baião, xaxado and arrastapé.
